Year-on-year increase in Grupa Azoty Group’s revenue in Q1 2017
In the first quarter of 2017, the Grupa Azoty Group recorded consolidated revenue of PLN 2.69bn, up over PLN 200m (9%) year on year, with EBITDA in excess of PLN 447m and net profit of PLN 250m. The Company also updated the 2013–2020 strategy.

Grupa Azoty publishes 2016 results
In 2016, the Grupa Azoty Group earned revenue of nearly PLN 9bn, reporting EBITDA of more than PLN 1bn with EBITDA margin of 11.2%, and net profit of PLN 375m with net profit margin of 4.2%.

Grupa Azoty to present new products and host sports stars at 21st PLASTPOL International Fair

Grupa Azoty will be presenting two of its production segments − plastics and OXO − at the 21st International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing PLASTPOL, taking place in Kielce from May 23rd to May 26th. Visitors to its exhibition stand will also have an opportunity to meet some of the athletes competing under the Grupa Azoty banner.

TAURON and Grupa Azoty team up on coal gasification project
Grupa Azoty has joined forces with TAURON on a project to construct a coal gasification unit for chemical production. A letter of intent was signed by the parties in Warsaw on April 20th 2017.

Air Products and Grupa Azoty ZAK sign new contract for the supply of industrial gases
On November 23rd, Air Products, one of the largest suppliers of industrial gases in Poland, and Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe Kędzierzyn S.A. of the Grupa Azoty Group, the second largest manufacturer of mineral fertilizers in the European Union, signed a long-term oxygen and nitrogen supply contract. Valid until the end of 2035, the contract is a continuation of the companies’ cooperation, dating back to 1997. By signing the contract, Air Products strengthens its position of a leading supplier of industrial gases for the key branches of Polish industry.

Grupa Azoty Police supports ZUT
The Process Dynamics and Control Laboratory opened at the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering is an effect of cooperation between the West Pomeranian University of Technology (ZUT) in Szczecin and Grupa Azoty Zakłady Chemiczne Police S.A. The cost of the laboratory equipment was EUR 70 thousand.The facility was created to address the need to educate students in the field of olefin production processes. It will also be used to improve employee qualifications, mainly of PDH Polska S.A., a special purpose vehicle of Grupa Azoty Police, established to construct a propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit.
